Wanted to look into DSG shudder/shifting issues (happens <30% time when it sits for a few days) and TSB 2020606 – but Dealership wanted to keep the vehicle overnight. Will schedule it another time.

JSW TDI @9754 – April to December

Combined MPG starting to rise over the last few fill-ups as the TDI has broken-in nicely. Mix of heavy traffic commute on I-95 – 35 miles one way with suburban stop and go errands. Last fill-up was 41 MPG combined with the current tank hovering around 42 MPG.

After an exhaustive search for a new daily driver, all paths led back to a VW JSW TDI for functionality. A long commute (70 miles), hauling pets, and a future kid… We kept it simple: Black/Beige and DSG (Wife).

After an intital 115 miles of stop and go traffic, running a number of errands; I’m thoroughly impressed with the new TDI. The TDI takes delicate consideration to maximize MPG but unfortunately my better half has a lead foot. (plenty of torque down low)
